Yeah I’ve read Lord of the rings several times and more recently on audiobook, which I found quite good, particularly for those sections that can be a slog.

a recommended reading section is a decent idea, I’ve come across lists like that in Facebook groups and the like when I used to frequent such hellscapes.

I Managed to get a whole hour of painting done yesterday! First time this year. The cold weather needs to feck off so I can go to my shed and not freeze!

@sundancer ‘simply because you are one of “four” inhabitants on a small island‘ – that is a low blow.  🙂 There are half a million people on my island, but the hobby scene is small and not popular enough to have large retail outlets with all the hobby supplies one would necessarily want. I get your point though.
