@zoidpinhead I’d say NerdForge, but they’re more arts & crafts (and 1:1 scale terrain) and don’t do wargaming.
There is a ton of inspiration to be had from the things they do though.

I think that’s the result of GW itself teaching generations of people to only use their ‘official’ products for everything.

It tends to generate customers with absolute zero imagination.

I think these are great, and great advise for a lot of newer painters.  Also for not so new I still make mistakes, although I learn more from them now.  The confidence I can fix them has only come in the last few years

New branding, betting new brand prices for the same old paint.

Oh and maybe forcing stockists to buy a bundle

If the paint we sold could be used on the minutures we sold was never a question I had in 5 years of GW retail, so unless the customer base has gotten really dumb a complete bs reason.
