This new campaign introduces the various denizens that you'll find on the planet Cerberus. Sitting at the edge of known space, far from the core worlds and ignored by the Authority, Cerberus (Colony 87) acts as a haven and an opportunity for "business" for not just humans but a range of alien lifeforms like Amphirans, the Pale, the Masque and the genetically engineered Homo Canids.

These brand new 28mm scale white metal miniatures have been designed with a retro Sci-Fi aesthetic that will be familiar to folks watching old movies from the 80s and 90s! Illustrators Will Beck and Dave Needham worked on the concepts, whilst the sculpting was done by Ari Níelsson, David Sheff, James Sherriff and Stephen Blanche.

If you're seeking a breakdown on how these different alien species fit into the world of Colony 87, we have some information from Crooked Dice. The Amphirans are shrewd traders who see the challenge of business as one to be undertaken with intelligence but also a humorous wit.

The Pale & The Masque Set Pledge - Crooked Dice

By comparison, The Pale are a grave, secretive and semi-nocturnal species. Meeting The Pale is to greet a person who probably knows more than you'd ever have fathomed. Equally as exotic, you also have The Masque, who are enigmatic and intelligent. They are mute and only communicate with hand gestures and nuanced posture changes. With six limbs, they are well equipped for the task and could well be another intriguing encounter should you not come to your meeting well prepared. Who knows what's below the masks and robes...

Homo Canid Set Pledge - Crooked Dice

Last but not least, you have the Homo Canids. They are quite literally genetically engineered dog soldiers who came out of experiments during the early years of the colony. Now, they find work as mercenaries, bounty hunters, soldiers and more, putting their genetically enhanced skills to good use.

All of these miniatures are available as part of dedicated packs or you can get a whole crop of them with some of the larger bundles.

The All-In Pledge is particularly enticing with all three bundles plus all of the additional miniatures that Crooked Dice has unlocked during the course of the campaign.

Some bloody great miniatures in this collection should provide you with endless amounts of fun when it comes to diving into your wargames on the tabletop. This is in addition to all that Crooked Dice has on offer on their website!

You could make use of these miniatures in games of 7TV by Crooked Dice but also they'd make a great foundation for a Stargrave collection!

What do you make of these new alien species from Crooked Dice?
