Swell The Ranks Of Your Jacobite Rebellion With Flags Of War

Flags of War recently added some great new miniature sets to their collection for those wanting to play out the battles of the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion, as well as the War of Austrian Succession. You can head over to the mainland with some French or stick to your border scuffles!

On the Jacobite side of things, you've got some great new 28mm scale figures that you can use for leading the way as part of warbands and armies as well as the rank and file that can make up the core of your force.

There is a very nice selection of on-foot characters that could be great for your skirmishes, clad in appropriate attire and with plenty of swords, bucklers and pistols at the ready. The Command set (above) also features your standard bearer and musician for your force.

As well as some of the new command figures, there are also some great skirmishes in a mixture of poses. There are both Highlanders and Lowlanders for you to choose from which is nice and makes for a cool distinction.

If you're looking for a named character to slot into this period of the Jacobite Rebellion, then you could also get Adjutant General John O'Sullivan. He is one of two new character miniatures added into the mix this month.

You've got some great choices from a rather large range now, which covers both the Highlanders and Lowlanders, plus plenty of the French, Irish and more. You've even got some more notable characters and big guns.

War of Austrian Succession

If you're looking to go a bit further afield, you can also look into their expanding War of Austrian Succession, which also saw some new kits.

Flipping it on its head, we got a peek at another of the character miniatures that you can use to lead the way. Here, we have Colonel John Campbell, Earl of Loudon. He is just a single figure but one that could shape the way you take your force.

Some more French are also included as part of this collection, this time mounted on the back of horses.

You have options to buy the French Cavalry Command but also the French Cavalry Troopers. Whilst this isn't a lot of releases for the War of Austrian Succession, there will be more coming from Flags of War in their next raft of releases.
