Warcradle Studios introduced a new preview this week, which covers the release of Armoured Clash reinforcements for the Commonwealth in the month of August. A new Battlegroup Set and Reinforcements are going to be available for you to bulk out your armies.

Miron Battlegroup Set // Armoured Clash

You can dive into the Miron Battlegroup Set if you missed out on introducing this massive construct into the mix when the Commonwealth first released. Here, you get options for some of the more elite elements of the Commonwealth.

• 1x Miron Super-Heavy Borer (may also be also built as Mamont Subterranean Cryo Transport)
• 2x Tsar Battle Tank (may also be built as Tsarevna Strike Tanks)
• 5x Winged Hussar Treadbikes
• 2x Ryadovoy Rodina Squadron
• 2x Kheshig Sky Cutter Wings
• 1x Subterranean Markers

I think a lot of folks are going to be snapping up this set for another Miron Super-Heavy Borer (or the Mamont Subterranean Cryo Transport). You could do a great job painting this, working with plenty of weathering.

I would also like the idea of basing these miniatures in a different way and working in some snowy/wintery schemes and basing. I think that would be great, especially when used on some of the bigger vehicles.

Commonwealth Regiments

In addition to the Battlegroup Set, you can also pick up a couple of Regiments. If you want to get more armour and vehicles, then you can snap up the Armoured Regiment.

This set comes with miniatures representing the Tsar Battle Tanks (or Tsarvena Strike Tanks) as well as Winged Hussar Treadbikes, Ryadovoy Rodina Squadrons and the Khesig Sky Cutter Wings.

Again, getting your hands on this allows you to slot in a bunch of new armoured miniatures into your Commonwealth force. These Regiments are a good bonus for those who snapped up one of the original boxes and really want to focus on a bunch more vehicles or perhaps even alternative builds for existing miniatures.

On the other side of things, you also have the rank and file that make up the Commonwealth, available as part of the Commonwealth Infantry Regiment.

You can have all of the armour in the world but if you don't have plenty of infantry, then you're missing out! A bit of combined arms helps you win your games in Armoured Clash, so these soldiers are important.

This set comes with Ryadovoy Rifle Platoons, Cossack Ovcharka War Dogs, Krot Armoured Borers (may also be built as Dikobraz Artillery Borers), Gobyata Field Guns (may also be built as Tryasti Seismic Mortars), Azhdaya Berserker Gang, Steppe Outrider Cavalry and Subterranean Markers.

Plenty of infantry options plus some great vehicles so you can get your troops to the right place on the battlefield.
