Warlord Games are taking pre-orders for those wanting to command their Hungarian armies in World War II games of Bolt Action. You can get a new Platoon Command set alongside a Forward Observer team.
Hungarian Army Platoon Commanders // Bolt Action
We start with the Platoon Commanders who will be taking control of the Royal Hungarian Army, crucial allies to Germany during World War II. Hungarian Officers led their men in combat and often benefited from a pre-war military education, which gave them a lot of know-how!
Every one of your Bolt Action force needs Platoon Commanders that will lead your Rifle, Recce, Heavy Weapon and Artillery Platoons. These particular characters are prepared with trademark Hungarian equipment, so they'll look the part on the tabletop.

A Forward Observer Team is also available from Warlord Games for your Hungarian force.

Forward Observer Teams were crucial for calling in artillery support and aircraft to help during battle. This set gives you a team ready to call in indirect bombardments alongside strafing warplanes. They can also be great for spotting when including mortars and howitzers in your force. Keep them safe and knock the enemy out from long range.
Both of these sets from Warlord Games are available in metal and should be released in January 2026.

I’ve in the past criticised warlord games because I felt they let themselves down on the scale, as if I could achieve anything near this standard, I felt I disliked the faces of some sculpts which is a personal quirk of my own I guess. That begin said I really these. The officer in the smock particularly. I don’t play bolt action but I’d like to say top work warlord in giving me lovely toy soldiers, long may it continue 👍
