A new e-zine has launched over the last couple of days called 28. This team delve into conversion, storytelling and general hobby goodness surrounding Inq28, AoS28, Necromunda, Inquisimunda and much more besides.

The team behind this magazine have worked very hard to produce something rather special here. All of the artwork, miniature photos, article submissions and more have been handpicked to fit the grimdark aesthetic and it's a pleasure to read. I've only gone through maybe the first few articles but I'm already hooked on this being a source of inspiration.

As I said above, the project focuses in on converting, modelling, building, painting and more, exploring the possibilities of the Games Workshop games that are part of the mainstream and those that sit on the sidelines too. If you ever liked the artwork of people like John Blanche...well, this team are heavily inspired by him!

I encourage you to delve in and read through Volume #1. The magazine is entirely free to snap up so you've got no excuse not to grab it and give it a read. I think it might have already started to get the creative juices flowing, nudging my brain towards interesting modelling projects.

It seems wise to just give a nod to the team involved in this as well. James Sherriff, Alexander Winburg, Ana Polanšćak, Nicolas Grillet, Vince Fiore, Kristian Simonsen, Eric Wier, Gregory Wier, and the mysterious Volitare-28 have done a stunning job on this first issue and I look forward to where they go next.

Let us know what you think of 28!
