With all of Ash and Oak complete I am moving onto figures from the Unaligned section.  After Harriet Kinsley the next one I got my hands on was Arthur Baskerville and his golemic hound.  Being resin I have avoided working on them as crazy as that sounds for a painter.  While resin holds detail beautifully, can have amazingly smooth surfaces, and can be just wonderful to paint I have a tendency to break them before they ever get to the game table.  I am still haunted by visions of the Kev White female landsknecht sliding off the primer tray to shatter into three pieces on the concrete two feet below. Shudder…

But that is the past, Arthur Baskerville and his hound are the present so best focus on them.  Very nice figures with a minimum of flash and mold lines though the sword cane and dog legs had me moving carefully and with purpose, especially once I realized I was going to have to drill and pin those delicate pieces of machinery to attach the dog to it’s base. Both minis have received their base coats and some washes.  Now they await a lot of highlights and details.  I might even try a tartan lining for the cloak… might.
