Musings on Lady Quimby
Lady Quimby and her awesome mono-cycle have been sitting on my desk looking at me for over a week. I can’t help feeling like she needs something else, something on her base. I picked out this Secret Weapon base as I wanted it to look like she was zipping up close to the curb to take a shot at a target on the sidewalk. She just seems to be in need of something vertical.
I was really thinking about a fire hydrant or something of the sort. Turns out there is a set of street lights for Malifaux that would work a treat. I picked one out that seems to fit her well and Blu-tacked it to the base to see how it looks. I started taking pictures using the same black background I used at first but the dark grey of the lamp’s plastic gets lost in it so I shifted to a lighter background. All in all, I have to say I prefer it with the lamp post though I will rotate it to point at the sidewalk, not the street.
