Started on my prep work today – assembled 6 Ork Kommandos form Spellcrow components and GW bits and pieces:
Also assembled 3 Trukks, still need to convert a little before priming
And put together a squad of 12 orks and the 6 drivers/gunners for the Trukks and got them primed too.
Finally, messing around with upscaled 3d prints of WW2 vehicles and converting them to make them look a little Orkier. needs more stowage and gribbly bits but has been fun so far. I might be having fun with this LRDG idea 🙂

September 23, 2018 at 10:26 am #1272951hey … it’s not Orktober yet. Don’t start building and painting.
😉
As a punishment I’ll leave this here :
I watched it yesterday … it was terriblem, because I was expecting something a a lot better to be honest.
Definitely agreeing with everything in the CinemaSins video.Hansel & Gretel : Witch hunters movie was easily ten times more fun.

September 23, 2018 at 11:08 am #1272954@limburger It’s Ok, Orcs are chronologically challenged so they won’t know 😛 True story, based on actual science 🙂
And I’ll be having a busy October so just getting a jumpstart on the assembly and priming bit so I can start painting when the calendar turns over 🙂
September 23, 2018 at 2:54 pm #1273032September 24, 2018 at 12:57 pm #1273441No work done yet, just primed up the boyz. Can’t see much here… and then my rattle can crapped out. I’ll have to get a new can. Some guys not finished yet.
September 24, 2018 at 6:17 pm #1273635@limburger Its Orktober if its group consensus in belief (normally reinforced by the heftiest Boy pummeling those who were skeptical). Its the same way that Orkytek works. If you believe hard enough it will work no matter how unlikely/implausible.

I did some basecoats on my Deff Dreads and Killer Kanz yesterday. Pics to follow later.
September 25, 2018 at 5:55 pm #1274210September 26, 2018 at 12:47 am #1274365@querion good stuff to continue working on. I look forward to the final pieces.
In that vein I’ll put in my progress. A dry run of the final figure after pinning but held in place with poster tack.
The weight of the metal was weighing down the poster tack as I tried to use the least amount for photos
I’ll paint it as subassemblies for the head, arm with shoota and boss pole separate. The arm holding the choppa is already pinned and set requiring a little touch up to the Dremel work I had to do to the shoulder where it meets the body.
